CSA Learning & Development Conference
logo

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2020, the CSA held its first Learning and Development Conference on 4 February 2020.

Held at Cloth Hall Court in Leeds, the event focused on championing people development and promoting collections as a credible career path in Financial Services. As an award-winning provider of professional qualifications and apprenticeships we wanted to host a new event which enhanced the reputation of the industry by promoting its commitment to well trained and skilled people.

The short video captures what was a day of positive energy from both employers and their staff getting together and discussing people development and what we can all do to make it better. You can also read CSA Head of Learning & Development Fiona Macaskill discuss the event here.

The programme offered a host of expert speakers across a number of disciplines to help attendees upskill and develop further in their roles.

The theme of National Apprenticeship Week 2020 was 'Look Beyond' - calling on young people to look beyond traditional routes into employment and explore the diversity of career options and industries now available to them through apprenticeships. Watch Phoebe in our video below talk about her experiences since taking on a CSA apprenticeship. The video also shows the CSA’s commitment to young learners and their professional development journeys and we look forward to welcoming them along to this new industry event next year.

Event format

The conference featured three streams throughout the day:

  • Leadership & Culture
  • Apprenticeship & Professional Development
  • Wellbeing & Mental Health in the Workplace
