CSA Shortlisted for Trade Association Forum Best Practice ‘Skills Development' Award
13 December 2021
Credit Services Association (CSA), the UK trade body for the collections and debt purchase sector and Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider, is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Skills Development category at the Trade Association Forum (TAF)
Best Practice Awards 2022.
Now in its nineteenth year, the TAF Best Practice Awards are supported by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and recognise excellence, innovation and best practice amongst Trade Associations
in the UK. CSA won the ‘Skill Development’ Award in 2019 and ‘Conference of the Year’ for its UK Credit & Collections Conference (UKCCC) in 2017.
Fiona Macaskill, Director of Learning & Development, CSA, said:
“Since we last won the TAF Best Practice Skill Development Award we’ve been through a global pandemic, which has seen us need to significantly adapt the delivery of our learning & development provision, expand and built on our range of specialist apprenticeship programmes in business-critical functions, and enable our members to take advantage of new schemes such as Kickstart, while continuing to develop our existing core training and assessment initiatives. 2022 will be a critical year for our members as they continue to navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape and be there for those impacted by ongoing economic turbulence. We are committed to supporting them and the organisations in wider sectors we work with to upskill their existing staff, attract new talent, and maintain the highest standards of professional practice.”
Emily Wallace, Interim Chief Executive, Trade Association Forum, said:
“Trade Associations including CSA have played an absolutely critical role in supporting the UK economy throughout the turbulence of the last two years. As we move forward, it is right to celebrate the achievements of the sector, recognise excellence and collaborate to improve the role that Associations can continue to play to support the Economy for the future.”
The full shortlist can be viewed here. Winners from each category will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Thursday, 17 February 2022, London.
