Important update about CSA 2020 Events
25 October 2019
As part of our ongoing commitment to add value to member businesses, each year we review the services offered to members in addition to the benefits they receive from their annual membership fee. As part of this review we assess our yearly events across a number of different criteria, and after careful consideration, from 2020 onwards, the Board of the Association has decided to replace our annual Members’ Meeting with a CSA Learning and Development Conference. We will still be offering a full suite of CSA events including our popular compliance meetings, regulation roundtables, membership category meetings / forums, and annual conference the UKCCC, which will continue to add value and meet the demands across other areas in member businesses.
We want to provide members with events that give the best opportunity to get value from a day out of the office; as a leading, award winning provider of professional development qualifications and Apprenticeship standards, we feel it is important to deliver a new event in the industry which focuses purely on championing people development – an aspect that has been gathering momentum over the last number of years. As well as promoting collections as a credible career path in Financial Services, the event will also enhance the reputation of the industry by promoting its commitment to well trained and skilled people.
The event will serve a diverse range of job roles across (and outside of) the sector attracting in-house collection teams, L&D professionals/Training Managers as well as current CSA apprentices and their employers, which sit both inside and outside the industry. It will assist in helping delegates gain further knowledge and insight on industry-related qualifications, developments and changes. The programme will offer a host of expert speakers across a number of disciplines to help attendees upskill and develop further in their roles. Championing people development is a major priority for the CSA and businesses in the sector to ensure they build, enhance and embrace the right cultures.
The event will also offer a number of networking opportunities for attending member and non-member businesses. Further details on the event can be found below.
Please note: The CSA AGM will move to a date shortly after this event at a location to be shared with members as soon as possible.
