15 August 2025
The Credit Services Association (CSA) has announced the shortlist for the 2025 CSA Awards to be held as part of its UK Credit and Collections Conference (UKCCC) on Thursday 11 September in Manchester. The awards recognise the professionalism and commitment of firms and individuals working within the debt collection and purchase industry. CSA Awards highlights excellence in the sector across a diverse selection of specialist areas and categories. New award categories for 2025 include Best Collaboration, International Member of the Year, Best Marketing Initiative, and Best Use of Technology. CSA CEO Chris Leslie says: “The popularity of the CSA Awards continues to grow year-on-year, reflected in the record number of submissions we have received this year. As the trade association for the debt collection and purchase industry, it is amazing to read about the achievements and the hard work that our members have demonstrated over the past 12 months. “The CSA Awards are a perfect platform for our members to showcase their high levels of professionalism, innovativeness, and commitment to positive customer outcomes. “Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit an entry.” The CSA Awards will also acknowledge the outstanding contribution and commitment from an individual through a new Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as awards for the highest scores achieved by firms in the CSA’s Collector Accreditation Initiative (CAI) online test. As well as being a trade association, the CSA is also an award-winning training provider and an Ofsted Good rated Apprenticeship Training Provider*, with the Kim MacMillan Award celebrating the work in these areas. The UKCCC (in association with Data on Demand) will be held at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport on Thursday 11 September 2025 and is the flagship annual event for the collections and debt purchase sector. Open to both CSA members and non-members, it brings together professionals from across the collections and wider credit industry to discuss the most pressing issues faced by firms and their customers and stakeholders. The conference programme boasts several high-profile keynote speakers covering the current political and economic climate, and future trends in AI and technology. Jo Coburn (Times Radio), Dr Linda Yueh CBE (author, writer and broadcaster) and Costas Pittas (FCA) will all headline the event. Three breakout sessions (sponsored by the Lantern Group), and a sold-out exhibition will showcase the latest industry innovations. The UKCCC concludes with the CSA Awards, featuring a champagne reception (sponsored by Adare), a three-course meal with entertainment from Live at the Apollo and Royal Variety comedian Scott Bennett, and We Are Tartan, a boutique DJ and live entertainment ensemble.
