Webio – a Conversational AI technology company which specialises in credit and collections customer conversations – has, for the second year running, taken headline sponsorship for the Credit Services Association’s annual conference - the UK Credit and Collections Conference (UKCCC) - to be held in Manchester on Thursday 14 September.

The UKCCC in association with Webio, brings together professionals from across the collections and wider credit industry to explore the key policy and regulatory developments faced by firms and their customers and stakeholders.
Speaking at last year’s event, CEO of Webio, Cormac O’Neil said:
“If you provide people with quality content where they will genuinely learn, this is a really good reason to come to this event, because you will get that quality content and you will learn!”

Commenting on the partnership, Mark Opperman, Co-founder of Webio said,

“We’re delighted to once again sponsor this year’s UKCCC. The industry continues to face its biggest challenge into 2023 and beyond, and credit and collections teams are positioned at the heart of this fragile climate, engaging with a growing number of at-risk customers who face unprecedented financial difficulties.
It’s never been more important for all involved to engage, share, and understand how to overcome the current and impending challenges.
We are looking forward to hearing industry professionals and experts discuss these issues and offering insights into how technology is proving to be a driving force in this new digital age.”

Colleen Peel, Head of Marketing and Events at CSA commented on the recent announcement, “Partnering with Webio for the second year running is testament to the quality content and networking opportunities this event provides for both its attendees and sponsors.

This year’s event will focus on technology and innovation as well as regulation, compliance and culture to help firms operate at the highest standards while putting your people and customers first.  Webio’s expertise in credit and collections customer engagement is therefore a great fit and very appropriate for the 2023 event.”
