CSA Crowned Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Training Provider Champion

The Credit Services Association (CSA), the voice of the UK debt collection and debt purchase industry, has been recognised at the Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards 2022. CSA were winners of the Training Provider award, having been nominated by Lincolnshire Trading Standards for its compliance and risk training.

Feedback from the judges praised the work of the CSA stating: “Credit Services Association designed a programme that supports individual needs, exceeds expectations of the programme and shows a clear link to positive outcomes for apprentices.”

The achievement follows an impressive few months for the CSA’s Learning and Development Department, having only recently received the highly sought-after Ofsted Good rating for its apprenticeship training provision in its first official inspection from the education and training regulator. 

Fiona Macaskill, Director of Learning and Development at the CSA, said the award provides further recognition for the Association’s ongoing commitment to skills development: “We are very proud to have won this award, it is a great accolade and it was an honour to even have been nominated by Lincolnshire Trading Standards, an employer who is so committed to high quality apprenticeships.” 

“Part of our strategy for the next 10 years is to be seen as the ‘go-to’ training provider in key specialist areas such as Compliance and Risk, but also in Credit Control and Collections, Counter Fraud and Debt Advice. Our Apprenticeships have proven very popular with local authorities, in particular our Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship, and we now work with over 60 local authorities across England and Wales.”

The achievements of Lincolnshire apprentices, trainers, providers and employers were recognised at the awards ceremony in Lincoln on Thursday 19 May 2022.
