CSA partnership to host the Credit & Collections Technology Awards as conference moves to Newcastle
18 February 2019
The Credit Services Association (CSA), the voice of the UK debt collection and debt purchase sectors, is once again hosting the annual Credit & Collections Technology Awards, and entries to the awards are now being invited.
The awards will be presented during the CSA’s annual award-winning UK Credit & Collections Conference (UKCCC) which this year moves to Newcastle, the city in which the CSA has been based for the last quarter of a century.
Colleen Peel, Head of Marketing and Events, says in all that time a CSA conference has never been held in the Association’s home city: “As a city, Newcastle has seen tremendous business growth over the last number of years and in 2018 held its very own ‘Great Exhibition of the North’ - a three-month celebration of the North of England’s pioneering spirit and the impact of its inventors, artists and designers,” she explains.
“It was the city’s opportunity to show how its innovative spirit has shaped the world and is building the economy of the North on a global scale, and now it is our turn to show the world how the CSA, its members, and the wider industry is supporting business growth both in the UK and internationally.”
UKCCC is being held at the Crowne Plaza, Newcastle on Thursday 12th September, 2019. The Credit & Collections Technology Awards will be presented as part of the evening Gala Dinner.
The awards recognise excellence and innovation in the UK credit and collections industry. In 2019, eligible organisations will again compete for one of these prestigious Awards which are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.
The Awards will examine excellence solutions in lending, credit and collections innovation. The range of categories reflect the widening compliance and best practice standards in the sector which technological innovation needs to support. Ultimately success at the Awards can be leveraged to promote industry excellence.
Colin White, founder of Credit Connect who devised the awards, said “I am very pleased to announce that we have renewed this partnership for this year, both events provide a tremendous platform for companies to raise awareness of the significant work that is being done across the industry. This year we have added a number of judges from high profile associations to the process, as well as created some new categories which aim to highlight further innovation in the sector.”
