UK Credit & Collections Conference and CSA Awards shortlisted for Trade Association Awards 2024

14 December 2023   (0 Comments)

The Credit Services Association (CSA), the only national trade association in the UK for organisations active in the debt collection and purchase industry, has been shortlisted for Event of the Year (under 500 attendees) at the Trade Association Awards 2024 for their flagship UK Credit & Collections Conference (UKCCC) and CSA Awards.

Run by the Trade Association Forum (TAF) and supported by the Department for Business and Trade, the awards recognise, reward and promote best practice among trade associations in the UK.

The UKCCC is the annual event for the collections and debt purchase sector and is open to CSA members and non-members, bringing together professionals from across the collections and wider credit industry to discuss the most pressing issues faced by firms and their customers and stakeholders.

The 2023 UKCCC was held at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport on 14 September 2023 and included a packed programme including high profile keynote presentations on future trends, and breakout sessions on hot topics from Customer Focus, Regulation, Compliance & Culture, State of the Market and People, Skills & Innovation.

The day concluded with the CSA Awards, celebrating the outstanding work and commitment of staff and teams within membership organisations, and hosted by comedian and writer Jen Brister with entertainment from live band Massaoke.

The 2023 event saw an increase in attendance for both the conference day and awards, with post-event delegate feedback rating the event 4.5 out of five.

CSA Chief Executive Chris Leslie said: “It is always welcome to have the efforts and services offered by the CSA recognised – especially when it comes from the UK’s ‘association of associations’.

“It is pleasing to see that the UKCCC and CSA Awards continues to grow and we strive to keep improving the event to ensure that it caters for the needs and requirements of our members, and we are already planning our 2024 event which we hope will prove to be just as successful.”

CSA Interim Head of Marketing & Events Chris Tynemouth said: “The entire team at the CSA are delighted to be shortlisted for this award and it comes following excellent delegate feedback from the last event.

“A huge effort is put in by the team here at the CSA to make each UKCCC an event that’s a ‘must-attend’ for those working in our industry, and I’d like to also thank our event team, delegates, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors who have all contributed to the success of the 2023 event.”

A record number of entries were received for the 2024 awards, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 22 February 2024 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
