Webio – a Conversational AI technology company which specialises in credit and collections customer conversations – has taken headline sponsorship for the Credit Services Association’s annual conference - the UK Credit and Collections Conference (UKCCC) - to be held in Manchester on Thursday 15 September. The UKCCC in association with Webio, brings together professionals from across the collections and wider credit industry to explore the key policy and regulatory developments faced by firms and their customers and stakeholders. Commenting on the partnership, Mark Opperman, Co-founder of Webio said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring this year’s UKCCC event and be a part of this industry-leading conference. The industry is facing its biggest challenge over the next 12-36 months and credit and collections teams are positioned at the heart of this fragile climate, engaging with a growing number of at-risk customers who face unprecedented financial difficulties. "It’s never been more important for all involved to engage, share, and understand how to overcome the current and impending challenges. "We are looking forward to hearing industry professionals and experts discuss these issues and offering insights into how technology is proving to be a driving force in this new digital age.” Colleen Peel, Head of Marketing and Events at CSA is looking forward to working closely with the main sponsor as part of this years’ event: “For as long as I can remember, Mark and his team at Webio have been a big supporter of UKCCC, so it’s a great compliment for the event that they have decided to take that extra step this year through headline sponsorship. "Partnering with a credit and collections customer engagement specialist is very appropriate for the event which will focus on emphasising the benefits of early engagement, something we have been campaigning for a number of years now in line with our #heretohelp campaign, but also ahead of the Cost-of-living challenge we are facing as an industry.” Full details on the event can be found here.
