Credit Services Association (CSA), the only UK trade body for the collections and debt purchase sector, is pleased to announce the successful renewal of their ‘Cyber Essentials Plus’
certification.
In December 2021, CSA obtained Cyber Essentials Basic accreditation for the third year running. Shortly after renewing the Cyber Essentials Basic certification, we underwent the Cyber Essentials Plus renewal assessment in early 2022 and have been awarded
a Certificate of Assurance that we comply with the requirements of the scheme.
Cyber Essentials Basic is a self-assessed information security standard; Cyber Essentials Plus is the audited version of the basic standard and involves a series of tests that provide a further level of assurance that the technical and procedural controls
required to mitigate common internet-borne cyber attacks, have been successfully implemented within the organisation. Both are minimum requirements for bidding for some Government contracts and are required by the Education & Skills Funding Agency
(ESFA) for acting as an Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider.
