At the UK Credit & Collections Conference 2022 Gala Dinner on Thursday 15 September, we will be presenting the CSA Awards.

So why should you enter?

Celebrating the outstanding work and commitment of people working in our sector

There has never been a more important time to celebrate the outstanding work and commitment of the people who work in our sector. From rapidly responding to regulatory changes including new forbearance measures, to offering a seamless service to those in difficult circumstances, we are proud that the industry has demonstrated resilience and innovation. We hope the awards, which are open to nominations relating to work done since over the last 12 months, will help to bring a well earned morale boost to all.

Recognising attainment of the highest industry standards

As your trade association, a key part of our role is to uphold the highest standards and the CSA Awards are designed to recognise best practice at an individual, team/department, and organisational level. We hope that the winning entries will provide a benchmark for others to emulate and give us success stories to shout about to the wider world.

Ease of submission and levelling the playing field

We have deliberately made the awards entry process as simple as possible (and free to enter) to allow the excellent work that has been done to stand on its own merit and ensure that the awards are as accessible to our smaller member companies as they are to our larger ones. We know that our membership is diverse in terms of size, type, and culture of companies and we want to provide a level playing field for all to celebrate their success.

The deadline for nominations in the four categories – Merit Award (for individuals), Team Award (for teams/departments), Innovation Award (for organisations), and our new award for 2022, the Kim MacMillan Award (for outstanding contribution by an individual or a team specifically in Learning and Development) – is Tuesday 12 July. Submissions will be judged by CSA’s Chair Tom Chandos, CEO Chris Leslie, and people/skills-specialist Board members Yvonne MacDermid and Jane Peacock. The winners will be announced at the UKCCC Gala Dinner and we hope the CSA Awards will become a regular fixture as an opportunity for our members in the collections and debt purchase sector to showcase the excellent work they’re doing to the wider industry.
