Trade association for the debt collection industry launches new website for its annual conference
01 May 2019
The Credit Services Association (CSA), the voice of the UK debt collection and debt purchase sectors, has launched a new event website for its award-winning annual conference, the UK Credit and Collections Conference (UKCCC), to be held on Thursday 12 September 2019.
For the first time in the event’s history, the website will offer a user-friendly online booking facility, as well as providing detail on the soon-to-be-released 2019 programme. Another first will see the event hosted at the Association’s hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne where its head office is based.
Following the success of the 2018 partnership, and for the second consecutive year, the UKCCC will host the Credit & Collections Technology Awards, powered by Credit Connect. The 2018 awards were hosted by the Association having previously been an online-only awards ceremony and were impressed with the vast range of companies and individuals who entered, across both consumer and business services in lending and collections. The ongoing partnership reflects the Association’s growing recognition of technology as being vital to the future success of its members and provides a reminder of the great strides technology plays in shaping the industry.
Colleen Peel, Head of Marketing and Events at the CSA, says they are extremely pleased to start taking bookings for this year’s UKCCC:
“Each year we aim to raise the bar and this year is no exception. The programme will feature entirely new content with a strong focus on professional development, business culture and cyber security. The not-seen-before content will take interactivity and delegate experience to a whole new level while also ensuring maximum business value is obtained through attendance,” she says.
“We are also delighted that the 2019 UKCCC will be held for the first time in the centre of Newcastle at the Crowne Plaza. Newcastle is a city that has seen tremendous business growth in recent years due to its pioneering spirit and accessibility, and we look forward to delegates joining us in the North where we can showcase the City and its business opportunities.”
