CSA appoints education and apprenticeships specialist

The CSA has further invested in its Learning & Development offering with the appointment of education specialist, Jane Peacock.

The Credit Services Association (CSA), the trade association for the debt collection industry, has appointed Jane Peacock to act as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its board. She will specialise in Further Education and Apprenticeships, bringing a fresh perspective to help shape qualifications and ensure they are fit for the future.

Jane has over 30 years’ experience in the education sector. Her most recent role was within the Department for Education’s Education and Skills Funding Agency specialising in development, regulation and oversight of the Further Education sector. Through this expertise Jane will help drive forward the CSA’s strategic priorities, including promoting its Learning and Development (L&D) offering and the courses/apprenticeships it is able to offer as a training provider.

Jane sees this an ideal time to be joining the CSA which already has a strong focus on professional development: “The CSA’s L&D department has grown significantly over the last year, offering new opportunities for professional certification and pathways, and I am looking forward to contributing to the next phase in the maturing and growth of the skills offered to the credit services sector.”
