Philip King, Interim Small Business Commissioner

To replace the CSA's 2020 UK Credit & Collections Conference (UKCCC) conference programme, we are running a series of virtual workshops throughout September to December, and these workshops will cover topics members will be used to seeing when attending the day of our annual event.

Each workshop will be 60 minutes long and will be hosted on Zoom. We are running ten workshops in total. The topics for these workshops include:

  • Complaints (Thursday 3 September, 11.00-12.00)
  • GDPR: International transfers (Wednesday 23 September, 10.30-11.30)
  • Late payments: What lies ahead (Wednesday 30 September, 10.30-11.30)
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing (Wednesday 14 October, 10.30-11.30)
  • Practical business support for the climb out (Wednesday 21 October, 10.30-11.30)
  • FCA: Certification guidance and the process of application/Implications of the Business Interruption Insurance case (Wednesday 28 October, 10.30-11.30)
  • Vulnerability: Translating FCA guidance into practice (Wednesday 18 November, 10.30-11.30)
  • Optimising your brain to make you think better (Wednesday 2 December, 10.30-11.30)
  • Post-Covid working environment: Issues facing the sector in 2021 (Wednesday 16 December, 10.30-11.30)
  • Litigation and enforcement (Wednesday 9 December, 10.30-11.30)

Each workshop will be charged at a nominal fee of £30 per person.

We are also offering a bulk discount per member firm where you may book five or ten workshops saving £50/£100 (as applicable). These discounts are only applicable if you purchase five or ten workshops within a single transaction.

Note: If booking more than one workshop within a single transaction, you may send different people to the workshops, the same person does not have to attend each workshop.

Upon booking you will receive an online form requesting that you state which workshops you wish to register for (the number of workshops selected must match the number of workshops you have booked). A link and password will then be sent to you shortly before any workshop(s) you have registered for.
