Becoming a member of the CSA means more than another logo on your headed paper; it means a chance to network, remain up-to-date with developments and legislation, to educate staff and above all to increase your company’s exposure.

Our knowledge of the industry remains second to none, we are here to serve and protect the interests of our members, offering professional advice, training and seminars to support and enhance all business activities.

To apply for CSA Membership your business must in some way be involved in debt servicing (either consumer or business to business):

  • Overdue Accounts
  • Repossessions
  • Consultancy/Advice/Training
  • Status Enquiries
  • Card Recovery
  • Credit Insurance
  • Tracing Enquiries
  • International Collections
  • Outsourcing
  • Arranging attendance at court
  • Bailiff & Process Serving
  • Liquidation book debt recovery
  • Debt Purchase
  • Call centre support
  • Utility debt collection

There are four categories of Membership;


Affiliate
This category accommodates Companies whom internally collect debt or whom have debt collection as a secondary business function which does not generate the majority of their turnover.
Companies that fall into this category could be accountants, banks and building societies etc. In actuality affiliate membership incorporates all businesses that carry out the function of debt collection as a secondary activity in relation to their everyday business enterprise – and have been doing so for at least one year.

Foundation
Start up and fledgling businesses whom primarily collect debt or offer ancillary services such as debtor trace occupy this category of Membership. On completion of two years trading history, these businesses are automatically upgraded to Full Members.

Full
Companies where any or a combination of the above is the primary source of revenue for the company. To apply for full membership you MUST have a minimum of two years trading accounts.

International
Debt collection is the primary source of revenue, but the company is registered in a country outside the UK and has been trading for at least one year.
